No that’s correct- prom is an event that most often occurs for Junior and Senior students, who are typically around the ages of 16-18 (although some schools allow students to invite younger members of the school body to prom if they are dates).

She has to be AT LEAST 18, but I tend to think she’s probably closer to 20-21 based on her responsibilities at the Big Donut

This might be unsolicited advice but I have to say: DON'T GET A MONOPRICE TABLET; I know from experience that they don't last!!! One of the cheaper Wacom models is a better investment in the long run; I saved money by getting a slightly-used one from Amazon Marketplace and it's been good for just under two years now. If you can, avoid making the same mistake I did!

I saw it on my girlfriend's DVD last time I visited her, so think of me as a messenger from the future when I say it's amazing and you should seize this opportunity. You might've already seen it on DVD, though, in which case... disregard this ask but still consider seeing it on the big screen, heh.
