when the night falls | Kathryn

Charles bit his lips together the slightest as he read Kathryn’s response. She was still willing to go out with him. This was still happening. He looked at himself in the mirror as he began loosening the tie that was still wrapped around his neck. It felt as if it was a bit much. He had to tone it down a notch. Chucking the tie on the chair next to the mirror, he took a dip of his drink that he had poured himself earlier. It was his first today. Figured he’d at least try to make a somewhat good impression. He should probably start by toning down the drinking again, but then again, bad habits die hard.
He pulled up outside of where Kathryn was staying. A was clearly nervous. He got out of the car and made his way over to the door, where he cleared his throath as he rang the doorbell. Waiting for her to answer.
