Hello world! This is my first post on my new blog, featuring a painting I was working on for my niece that I messed up with a stray line of black paint. This mistake kind of represents the kind of person I want to be going into 2026: unafraid of sharing the messy, the imperfections, the progress.
With my art, my online presence has always been along the lines of just: post art, and that's it! Which, if I’m honest, has suited me for a long time. Social media has a way of depressing us in all sorts of ways, I like to keep my distance and I also like keeping my private life private. I’ve never been fond of over sharing, mostly because I’m a very anxious person.
But if I were to be honest with myself, deep down, I do want to share things about my life. I want to share the things that inspire me, the thoughts and feelings that shape my art. I want to connect with people - not only through my art and stories, but through my hobbies and passions as well.
This blog will be a platform to say “hello, this is me!” along with sharing artwork I have created, including original content in relation to a series of books I want to illustrate.
Thank you for sticking around!
