Woahhh. Would talking about if they age/mature be a spoiler ?
No to both. It’s not a spoiler, and they don’t age in any physical sense. To others Aurel appears to be a ghostly miasmic shape, whereas Sevila’s age is difficult for people to pin down. Guesses for her range anywhere between 30-45, though she is in fact much much older.

Sure! Too much background would give away major plot points but I can lay out some basics here.
Sevila was a soulless body long before she found Aurel, who had just recently been severed from their body with little to no memory of how they had come to be this way. If pressed (and if she trusts someone with that information) Sevila will reveal that she in fact cut out her own soul from her body with a bone knife, and hid her soul away where not even she could find it. She refuses to explain why.
On the other hand Aurel desperately wants to find their body, and Sevila agrees to help provided that Aurel enters into a binding eldritch contract to serve her until their body is found. Since Aurel’s soul is quickly fading before her, leaving them with little choice, Aurel agrees.
Later when Aurel asks why she offered to help in the first place, Sevila at first replies with “I was bored,” but eventually admits that she wants to track down the person who disembodied Aurel, since she thought she had killed the last person who knew how to perform such a feat.
Other things to know about the pair: Sevila is incredibly capricious and greedy. She hoards anything that glitters, shimmers, or shines. She physically cannot be killed, though her body does feel pain and pleasure. As such she enjoys nothing more than good food, good wine, pretty girls, ruthless politicking, and teasing her disembodied companion.
Aurel, being bodiless, cannot feel anything and cannot be physically harmed. Without Sevila’s help they would have dissipated into the ether, and they are bound to this realm by a spell. They can manifest into any shape that holds them (even going so far as to be able to possess minor creatures at will) though they prefer layers of baggy clothes and armour. They hate it when Sevila makes them carry her bags when she goes shopping, but most of all they hate it when Sevila dresses them. They are far more prone to bouts of mercy and kindness than Sevila is. Since they cannot enjoy bodily pleasures, Aurel prefers to spend their time reading or attending the theatre on the rare occasion they’re able to do so. Most people find them distressing to look at, so Aurel generally avoids the company of others.
