[NZ-RT30] Zum Sonnenaufgang ging es an den Strand vorm „Katiki Point Lighthouse“. Hier starteten die Gelbaugenpinguine wie versprochen in den Tag, und ließen sich auch nicht von umherliegenden Robben beeindrucken. Nach kurzer Auto-Ausgrabungs-Rettungsaktion ging es ins Restaurant "Fleurs Place“. Ein absolutes Muss, wenn ihr in der Ecke seid! Gut gesättigt machten wir uns auf den Weg zum von Bergen umgebenen „Lake Pukaki“ in dessen Nähe wir die Nacht verbrachten. At sunrise we went to the beach in front of "Katiki Point Lighthouse". Here, as promised, the yellow-eyed penguins started there day and were not slightly impressed by the seals lying around. After a short car excavation rescue action we went to the restaurant "Fleurs Place". An absolute must if you are in the area!
