the flower she picked was blue because that was her favorite color she thought maybe it would grow some more when she put it in her garden but then she didn't know a picked flower was already dead even if it was pretty and blue the shoes she wanted were shiny because that was how her mother's were she thought maybe she could be just like her when she put them on her feet but then she didn't know shoes could not make her elegant even if they were just like her mother’s the story she wrote was simple because that was how she liked things she thought maybe she could be famous if she wrote well enough but then she didn't know simple isn't enough for most even if she preferred it that way the dress she wore was lace because she couldn't afford silk she thought maybe no one would notice when her date walked her in but then she didn't know things like that were important even if it was all that she had the scotch she drank was sour because it was the first she ever tasted she thought maybe she was missing something when she took her first sip but then she didn't know scotch will never taste much better even after her first taste the way she cried was childish because that was all she knew how to do she thought maybe crying would help when she was left alone but then she didn't know crying never fixes anything even if it was all she could do the bed she slept in was messy because no one ever made it she thought maybe there was something better when she went to sleep each night but then she didn't know that there was and always is.

Here's a boy's opinion:I may not know you very well, but what I do know is wonderful. It goes without saying that you're very physically beautiful, but in the few interactions I've had with you, your personality has been just as amazing. You're an original, that's for sure. You've made me laugh a lot (on purpose), but you also have depth. I think you're great. So yeah, just one guy's opinion. :)
