Gap Moe is seriously the universal formula for making GOOD characters.

I can easily go on an hour-long ramble about how it is the BEST THING EVER for ANY character setting. ALL of my favorite fictional boys have a gap one way or another and I will die on this hill that gap moe is the ultimate truth.

A cute lil ball of sunshine? GIVE THEM A SECRET SCARY SIDE

A rough delinquent? GIVE THEM A CUTE CARING SIDE

Hot scary CEO daddy? MAKE 👏 HIM  👏 A  👏 SIMP  👏

Subtle is good of course but I say extreme gaps are the fuckin best

Ok I’ll stop before I end up writing a 10-page essay, I’m way too passionate about this subject..

ok so i’ve seen a lot of posts about various sides with freckles but hear me out: roman with acne

roman with acne scars across his cheeks and sides of his forehead and the occasional outbreak along his chin

roman who hides his acne under layers of foundation because he's embarrassed by the marks on his face

roman who washes his face almost obsessively and uses various face washes in the hope that the right combination will work

roman who gets upset because no matter what he does, nothing ever seems to work

roman who tries to resist the urge to pick at his face because he knows it just makes things worse but can't seem to help himself

It was a well known fact that Virgil was far from confident; he lacked most, if not all, the specific traits one needed to even be considered “confident” in any way. He wasn’t bold, he wasn’t fearless and he sure as hell wasn’t secure. He was everything the personification of anxiety entailed - nervous, uncertain and untrusting. That’s the way it had always been, and it looked like that was the way it was always going to be. But if the others could change, why couldn’t he?

hey guys! so i’m three-fourths of the way through this fic i’m writing where virgil attempts to become more confident in himself and break out of his comfort zone and was wondering if anyone would want to be tagged when I post it?

ok so im going to talk about electric touch rn, please keep in mind these are all my opinions and you dont have to feel the same about what i say!

overall, its a song. a 6.5/10. i like the lyrics, and the guitars and all that. but. patricks voice has EXTENSIVE autotune on it, and it sounds like hes trying to match taylors vocals too much instead of bringing his own twist. i do find the autotune a bit angering, since patrick has objectivity better vocals then taylor. i found this same issue on castles crumbling, with paramore, except without autotune and rather constrained voice. also, speak now in general as an album is very DRAMATIC, and electric touch just, in my opinion, did not fit on speak now specifically (i get that its “from the vault” but it still comes with speak now taylors version so im counting it). the drums and guitars were very good though, and a lot of the lyrics are too (“got a feeling your electric touch can fill this ghost town up with light” “all i know is this coupd break my heart or bring it back to life) being a few really good ones).

like i said, a 6.5 out of 10 in my book. i will be listening to it more often, but it overall just fell short.
