After his confrontation with Goncharov on the boat, Andrey goes to Katya one last time. This story only has one ending.

My first Goncharov fic! I have to admit I’m super new to this fandom and actually hadn’t even seen the movie until I saw everyone talking about it because of the #GoncharovRenaissance. Like everyone else, I got super caught up in the Gon/Kat/Andrey MESS but felt like the Katrey side of the ship was a bit neglected, so this is my attempt to remedy that.
A couple notes: I know it’s a bit silly that Katya wouldn’t refer to Goncharov by his first name in her narration, but the choice to only include his last name in the film is obviously very intentional re: themes of identity and it felt overly presumptuous on my part to make up one for him.
This also includes my headcanon for what happened to the third clock. Like I said, I’m new to the fandom so I don’t know if there’s any accepted fanon for this, but I hope you enjoy regardless!
