The Warriors (and Mercy) getting back home after the events of the album, and all Rembrandt can think of is that park and Ajax. That train station and Fox. She doesn't want her last memory of her best friend to be that train. And she doesn't want to think about that park - especially when her girlfriend gets back. Ajax's and Fox's sides of the Warriors' one room apartment being empty -one temporarily, one forever- is enough of a reminder for her - she doesn't need the heavy weight of just daring to go outside, and remembering what happened to her and the people she loved most that night.

The idea of Fox first joining the Warriors (via Rembrandt) at only around 14-15 years old, and having a fox plushie clutched in her little arms. So, when it was finally time to pick her new name, the other Warriors all decided to call her Fox🥺
