while great comet was running, especially in the earlier productions, audience members used to accidentally drink the casts "vodka" (water) so they would refill the casts shot glasses with actual vodka from the table. so there were times when a cast member would just throw back a shot, expecting it to be water, and it was vodka. in the middle of the show.
