Katunga day 3: Suddenly the monster stopped dead in its tracks, he let out a large yawn and stretched out his back. - - Using 2 buildings he constructed a couch, then promptly laid back to sit and to slouch. - - The townsfolk gasped and were taken aback, as the beast ate a car like an afternoon snack! - - This monster was lazy; he didn't seem to care, compared to Godzilla, he's just not a scare. - - So is he threat, will he cease to destroy? Or is it slacking off that he truly enjoys? - - #katunga #inktober

At dawn the ground began to shake, startling the city with a fervent quake. - The news declared the state code red, for the disaster at hand filled all with dread. - A colossal monster had invaded the city! Smashing cars and buildings, he relinquished no pity. - What a catastrophe; what at a terrible din! Here were some preliminary sketches before I started drawing my "Katuga" Inktober story. - The premise was a lot of fun, ( a lazy kaiju that isnt motivated to destroy a city) but it was kind of a dead-end story. - Should I finish it? Katunga 15: The giant monster chased with fervent pursuit, the helicopter that flaunted the pastry loot, - - It led the beast past the far outskirts of town, to a junkyard all rusted, weathered and beat-down. - - There is hovered over a massive nuclear facility, taunting the beast with tempered hostility. - - The great monster growled and lunged into the sky, attempting to snatch the donut, which still hung quite high. - - The monster had misjudged the distance he had leapt, and in his blindness slipped and misstepped. - - He careened with a splash into a glowing nuclear brew, sinking completely into its radioactive stew. - - From the sludge several green bubbles popped, and then all was quiet, all movement had stopped. - - At long last, was the creature destroyed? Was this a victory for all the city to enjoy? - - With a burp and splash the creature emerged, renewed with new life from the nuclear surge. - - In fact, he had improved from his previous state, Turning back into a dinosaur at a fascinating rate. - - To him, the radioactive bath wasn't toxic one bit, but more like a spa, to relax and to sit. - - The plan had failed, and the monster was content. Katunga 14: At once the chef entered the dessert faction, where his bold plan would go into action. - - He called for 3 tons of flour and a truck filled with sugar, and ignited a jet engine sized pressure cooker - - After the yeast had risen and the dough was fried, the chef's monstrous creation had at last arrived. - - It was a massive glazed donut that stood 5 stories tall, a pastry so delectable it would leave anyone in awe. - - With a helicopter and the hook from a crane, the donut was hoisted to the city center main, - - A sweet aroma filled the air from the donut in suspension, attracting the hungry monster by catching its attention. - - Once the cat-like beast spied the pastry overhead, it charged full-speed, intent to be fed. - - The helicopter led the monster away from the city populace, sparing any more damage to their precious metropolis. - - Where was the chef leading the ravenous beast? Katunga 12: Above the city the monstrous cat-monster loomed, no one knew its intentions, or so they assumed. - - From his office the Mayor picked up his phone, "This is absurd! I won't leave this alone!" - - Call the bomb squad and set that cat ablaze! It's scales are now fur, it should be easy to scathe! - - As the monster sat pondering at its current predicament, its cat ears heard something quite magnificent. - - A massive jet rolled in the clouds overhead, spanning 100 feet from from its tail to its head. - - At it the massive cat cheerfully pawed, unaware the situation was to become quite odd. - - Bay doors slid open and 10 massive bombs fell out, exploding on the monster and wrecking all about! - - The monster became furious, its eyes grew to slits, flames flared from his nostrils, a reaction that fits. - - With a yowl a flaming torrent spewed from his maw, destroying the plane so fast it left everyone in awe. - - "What have we done!" The mayor demanded." "We're only made it stronger, all hope is stranded!" - - After the wreckage crashed down the cat licked its fur, this fight definitely was not o-ver. - - #inktober #inktober2017 #katunga #edensandersart #creativemechanics

Katunga 11: When the electrical beam struck the monster in a burst, nothing really seemed to happen, at least not at first. - - Then the beast began to shudder and quake, along with growling and frothing, what a fuss did he make. - - With a sneeze and a pop he suddenly grew fur! In a matter of seconds, he completely transformed in a blur. - In a manner most blatant, someone said, "Well, lookit that." "That crazy scientist turned the kaiju into a cat!" - - Indeed the monster had become quite feline, a disposition that he himself wasn't inclined. - - The scientist pursed his lips and checked his ray's setting, "That can't be right. What am I forgetting?" - - "I had meant to turn the beast into a creature cat-sized, but to see I got it backwards is surely a surprise!" - - Sheepishly the scientist began to stumble back, afraid the angry monster would continue his attack. - - What was to unfold out of these crazy events?
