We've come far.
Our fandom is finally building an army for the BEST. We are now fighting still trying to save OUR world. And in a long time we are not fighting over ships or whatnot. We have to do this, using our voice.
Get Netflix to do it for US, for a part of our life.
We need a Katy based episode, when it's a flashback into her past- how she met Maya's father, what sort of person she was before, her struggles, her friends, moving to NY, having Maya, raising Maya and then the episode would end on the current day, like Maya could be coming home from school and Katy just hugs her. Maya is like "what why?" And Katy just doesn't answer but instead hugs her tighter...... God that would be sooo good OML-that is what we need
I hate when people call Katy a bad mother. She might not have had a successful career as a lawyer or teacher like Cory and Topanga, but she worked her ass off to make sure Maya had food on the table. She was not a perfect mother and she did work a lot, but to say she didn't care about Maya is bizarre. Was she able to spend as much time Maya? No, because again she was working days and nights to make sure Maya had food, clothes and a roof over her head. A bad mother is someone who doesn't give a fuck if their child eats or not. She made the most of what she had. I bet the majority of people criticizing her have never been raised by a single parent. I know the sacrifices they have to make. I have watched my mother cry because even after working her ass off days and nights she still felt like she wasn't able to give us enough. Katy is a great mother! She loves and would do anything for Maya.
