To be fair, that anon said “there are mtmte fans who” which I understood as not meaning the fandom as a whole. I don’t think they meant to attack the MTMTE in general. I have to be honest and say that there are MTMTE fans that can get really aggressive and hypocritical (like certain fans in all fandoms).

Plus there were Primes before him. Now I can’t exactly say when Caminus left Cybertron but shouldn’t maybe Nova have been the Prime by then? By now all Optimus is is the carrier of one half of the dead Matrix and “Prime” is only a title.
Rodimus’ name wasn’t actually passed to him by the Primes but Swindle made it up so I don’t know if he actually counts as a real Prime. But either way he was carrying and connecting to the Matrix as well.
And I am not ok with the whole worshiping part :/

I was kind of in shock over the fact that they had the gall to do it in the first place; I just kinda stared at them with a look of horror while they were yelling at me to get out.
Like I can get if you're frustrated and a customer comes in during the last 5 minutes and pokes around, but I was there quite ahead of that, and I was getting through forms as fast as I could and not fussing over the sudden price shift and SPEAKING TO THEM THE ENTIRE TIME SO THEY KNEW WHAT FORMS I NEEDED so honestly there's no fucking excuse
