With the assistance of Sera, Katiya sets a bucket of water above the Inquisitor's door. She waits in the main hall for a while until she notices him heading for his quarters and follows behind silently.
Kaaras had been so set on just making it to his chambers (always on a mission), that he hardly noticed the woman who was following him up all of those stairs. He’d generally realise when something was off, especially when it came to his own chambers, but so set on getting inside, he did not notice that the door was the slightest bit ajar, just so a bit of rope could hang through the top.
Of course, when he opened it, he was suddenly doused in water from horns to boots, stopping right then and there and freezing as it dribbled all down the back of his neck and beneath his collar.
His body was in shock for a moment at the sudden assault from the water, and his hair dripped down his forehead, eyes closing as the rest of the water finally ran down his face.
A short breath left him. He was already irritated no thanks to his terrible week, but this? He didn’t mind simple pranks here and there, and he understood most of them were utterly harmless--including this one (technically). But that did not mean he wasn’t about to get angry.
At the laugh he heard, he turned around, a very unimpressed expression across his face.
“Katiya!”
