Here’s a bit of a flashback from 2006- N645SW, a Boeing 737-300 in Southwest’s original colors at the gate at Austin Bergstrom International Airport with an American MD-80 remote parked in the background- it was later moved to a gate for a morning flight back to DFW. In Southwest’s history, they operated a total of 195 737-300s. That’s only 17% of the production total of 737-300s. By contrast, Southwest has operated 44% of all 737-700s built. The difference, of course, is due the growth of the airline over time and it’s key role as the launch customer for the 737-700. #avgeek #aviation #aircraft #planeporn #KAUS #AUS #Austin #Bergstrom #Texas #airport #planespotting #instaplane #Boeing #737 #Southwest #N645SW #SWApic #instagramaviation #splendid_transport #instaaviation #aviationlovers #aviationphotography #flight #AvGeeksAero #AvgeekSchoolofKnowledge #AvGeekNation (at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport) https://www.instagram.com/p/B488DpsBeGh/?igshid=19yd7u98nl3bg
