[Introduction Post Title]

It took me a long time to actually just sit down and write this, but better late than never. Hello there! I'm NightVeil (or just Veil is fine too, he/she/them) and welcome to my tumblr! Many years ago I had a tumblr that I never used, so I closed that one down and made this anew.

When twitter was starting to implode, and as it still is, I made this space as a backup of sorts. I still mostly use twitter, I tend to like the short form nature more, and its just something that I am used to. However, as I develop as young adult, I want to develop my creative side more. Some of these passions include writing, drawing, music composition, etc, and that's primarily what I want to do with my space here.

I view tumblr as a great space for more long form content, something not constrained by character limits, and has more multimedia representation. I will likely still use Twitter alongside Tumblr, but try to keep them distinct in the content i provide to them.

Hopefully, this will be the start of an exciting new part of my life, even one small step at a time. I look forward to seeing what becomes of it ^-^.

I would also like to thank Kavaeric, and his through Tumblr Field Guide, which i would highly recommend looking into if you are also new to this website!

I really don't like it when people relate Hong Kong to Ferguson though, it doesn't make me feel too comfortable and it doesn't feel right to compare the two issues in the two incidents
