5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be? I’d be cherry tree because they’re my absolute favorite and it is also linked to my childhood and all that and yeah. cherry trees are rad.

10. What were you doing at midnight last night? I was sleeping (bc i have a bad cold rn and its not a weekend :/)

15. Do you like someone? I like my boyfriend, he’s a lovely person and he makes me super happy and stuff

20. What is your best physical attribute? (showing said attribute is optional)  I like my hands and my face. there are probably a lot of face photos around my tumblr lol

25. You just found $100! How are you going to spend it? good foundation, clothes, skin care, makeup, anime merch maybe i don’t know, i’m very impulsive when it comes to money

So what’s the one thing you’re going to save from that blazing inferno? this is the worst possible thing to ask me because i’m just… such a sentimental person when it comes to things like objects that have more sentimental value to me than actual value and it’s just like…. my guitar? a nice clothing item? the one pack of aquarell pencils i received as a gift from my mom 3 years ago? a drawing my dad and i drew together when we were having a really important talk that one time? a drawing i received from an important friend? tiny gifts i received once and i could never replace with anything? the one giant duck plushie i had since i was 3? the ikea carrot plushie my friend had with her when she was in the hospital? the family photo from a year ago that i love? the giant artbook my grandmother bought me 2 years ago? my guitar case i got 6 years ago and i still use? i just don’t know???

35. Are you a good….[insert anything you’d like here]? i chose “good person” and the answer is yes. i have improved so much since the last 3 years. I’ve become better at being honest to myself. I’ve become better at living. I’ve become better at dealing with things. My process to “being the best i can be” is going very well and I am confident and proud. I am recognizing my talent in many things.

40. Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets? ah man, it depends on my mood

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? my motivation and determination.I’m really bad with actually getting motivated and being determined to finish something… i wish it were a bit easier to get to the state to go like “im gonna do this now” rather than “i’m gonna do this sometime”

My boss asked me into her office one time (and it was a time where I felt just on “autopilot” most of the time and was asked to talk before, and thereafter, I worked my butt off after that meeting bc holy hell that was frightening), and then she called me back in like maybe a couple months later and asked if I wanted a raise which getting asked to come to the office again was frightening but then I was surprised when she mentioned the raise.

Hm. Would DRRR!! count because of the unnatural beings even though it’s set in the modern world? I’d say that, but I’m also currently digging Tales of Zestiria’s fantasy world as well! My inner child is screaming Halloweentown though, haha!

Summary:  It’s been a week since Shirazu’s passing, andHaise’s promotion. The Quinx Squad is trying to find their footing again.Especially Urie, and Saiko. Urie+Saiko.

a/n: I don’t knowif everyone just convened at Haise’s apt for like planning/homely things or ifit was actually like a little base for them but I’m making it so it’s likeeveryone lives in one apt and has their own rooms.

It had only been a week since Shirazu passed, but life wasstill moving as quickly as it was since the beginning of the Tsukiyama Familyoperation. Urie had been promoted to squad leader, as Haise was promoted tospecial class.

Before Shirazu passed, Urie would’ve done anything forthis spot again. Now, he would’ve given this desire back in a heartbeat just tohave his friend back again. After the CCG took Shirazu’s body from the scene,Urie felt like everything he was doing became mechanical. Sure, he still wentto the gym to train, and he kept up with meetings, and notes on cases just ashe would’ve in the past, but there was no passion behind it. No motivation foranything. He mostly kept his distance from the other quinx unless Haise hadforced him to join in, or it was for a mission.

Now, he had to become Haise immediately to take hisplace as squad leader, and although, he had been preparing for this since dayone, he didn’t feel like he was in anywhere capable now.

Urie sighed heavily as he walked past Mutsuki’s door open.He wasn’t inside. He briefly wondered where he could’ve gone, but he wasn’t tooworried. Mutsuki could take care of himself, and he wasn’t stupid. Urie slippedout his phone to check his messages, and noticed one from Mutsuki, saying hewent out to get food for their apartment. Urie pursed his lips, and put hisphone back in his pocket. Haise usually got groceries. It wasn’t long until hisphone buzzed again, and he saw another message from Mutsuki. 

From: Tooru 

Msg: Can you check on Saiko? I haven’t seen hercome out today…

To: Tooru 

Msg:  Ok

Normally, he would’ve texted back that the mini-pig couldfigure shit out herself, but everything, the whole atmosphere, and the wholedynamics between the Quinx Squad seemed so off now that Shirazu wasn’t there,and Haise moved classes.

Urie walked down the hallway to reach Saiko’s room, andlifted his hand to knock on the door, before he could hear Saiko through thedoor. He could hear her choking down sobs followed by small sniffles. What wasodd is that he didn’t hear any video game music playing in the background,there was no continual stream of Himouto! Umaru-chan he usually despised herplaying on repeat. There was only her sounds which signaled a red flag in Urie’smind. She had….been crying nonstop since the funeral. Granted, it’d only been aweek, but he couldn’t even remember her coming out to rummage through theleftover junk food Haise had bought for her.

“Yon—Saiko?” He rapped on the door with his knuckles. “Can Icome in?”

Saiko’s sniffles were her only answer.

Urie let out a soft sigh of impatience. “I’ll give you until3 to become decent if you aren’t, then I’m opening this door. It’s been far toolong since you’ve annoyed me.” He murmured, and began counting. There was smallshuffling, and he was greeted with an open door, frizzy-haired (pigtailsundone), puffy-faced Saiko looking anywhere but Urie’s eyes.

Urie felt a small pain in his chest. He knew this face. Hehad this face at the crime scene while yelling at the upper class as his frienddied in his arms. He welcomed himself in as Saiko turned to go back to lay downon her bed. He exhaled through his nose, and took a seat on the edge. He wasn’tsure what the rules were with males and female friends on a bed.

There was a long silence until Saiko began to bawl again,hiding her face in her pillows. Urie frowned, and had to quickly think of whatthe others might do. Shirazu would probably crack a joke at her to light a fireunder her ass to sass back, but that was probably not the best idea in thisscenario, and Urie was never good with jokes. Haise and Mutsuki would gettouchy-feely which is also not what he was good with, but as the squad leader –he’d had to deal with emotions like this in the future. Haise wouldn’t be hereanymore, and Mutsuki got too overwhelmed at times.

“Shh, c’mere,” he said, leaning on the bed to minimize thespace between them, and Saiko only peeked from between a space in her hair tolook up at him. He motioned with one of his hands to come closer to him. Saikoslowly got up, and crawled over to Urie’s side, and leaned against him. Uriewrapped both arms around her, pulling him into his chest. Saiko’s eyes blinkedtears away and her eyes widen as she was pulled into Urie’s chest. Urie hadnever been so willingly to give up his personal space.

“Urie…?” She managed to get out.

Urie wasn’t good at being a team player, but if he learnedanything from Haise, and Shirazu – it’s that he needed to be, and after this,he was more than willing to try. “I think…” he started to answer, “that we bothneed this.”

Saiko blinked once more, and felt tears fall down herreddened face, but she nodded in understanding and pressed her head against hischest. “I’m so sorry.” She whispered. “I could’ve been stronger. I could’vehelped him fight. I’m useless.”

Urie shook his head. “That’s the hardest I’ve ever seen youwork,” he smirked, placing a hand on her head. “They’re gonna pay for what theydid. You hear me, squirt? They’re not gonna get away with it. I promise.”

Saiko could only nod against hischest as she felt her waterworks spring back up, tears flooding down her cheeksas she tried to choke them back again. Urie’s hand smoothed out her frizzyhair, and rocked her back and forth slowly. “Shh, it’s okay. We’ll get through this,okay? Me, you, and Mutsuki…were not leaving each other. We’re staying righthere.” He promised.

Shooting Star: If you could bring back one thing, what would it be? Although, it would probably fuck up timelines, the people that were taken from me at waayyy too young of an age. You never expect to lose one of your best friends at 16, and you never expect one of your con friends to pass either. If I could just bring them back, even for a short time, to tell them how much they meant to me and how I wish I would’ve hung out with both of them more, it’d be worth it.
