My lap pad arrived, and it's amazing!! Thank you so much! My daughter and I have both been using it. It's been great for my anxiety, and she's been sleeping SO well - - she's not great with sleep and normally tosses and turns all night, has lots of nightmares, but she's been sleeping through the night without any problems with the lap pad over her torso! I'm so happy! ❤️❤️❤️

The first time I asked my therapist about an autism diagnosis, she said the same thing. I was like "lol no I'm looking at your nose right now."
At my first appointment for diagnosis I had to stop using my cheats, which I used for 22 years, b/c I was worried I looked too neurotypical.
Though the stress still made me shut down and rock...
I just wanted to thank you for making this blog! Too often when I think of my childhood as an undiagnosed autistic kid, it's the negative stuff that comes up first. Social problems and such. It's nice to be encouraged to think of the positive side, and to see the positive from others as well! Thank you!
Aw, you're very welcome! That was exactly my intention. Too often autistic kids are a) only talked aboutb) portrayed negatively.We all need to be reminded sometimes that we were (and often still are!) just as cute as everyone else, and that it was (and still is!) perfectly fine for us to show autistic behavior, because we are autistic. It's what we do, and there's nothing wrong with it. Let's all remember together that we all deserve every single happy memory that we have.

okay I had an actual response to your first rb I was gonna finish tomorrow but saw you rb from the racist who was saying ‘there are good slave owners’ made me delete it bc why bother with a person like you lol.

yeah, I figured it was a tiny bit more healthy than just pouring sugar in my tea, and it is kinda soothing too, so there’s that. I’m still eyeing the Campbell’s Chicken Noodle soup in the pantry ... that may be next.
Overnight oats attempt 1
Too much milk. Oats were pretty tasty anyway, but there was twice the amount of milk in there that I needed even after the time it spent in the milk. Which was about 16 hours all told because I overslept haha. Generally, they tasted pretty good. I'm going to try them again, and measure the milk out properly this time. I think I'm also going to try a smaller container. I did a quart mason jar but it was too big for the amount of oats I had (1/2 cup dry) and I ended up pouring them in a cereal bowl to eat.

Where are your "daily totals" from? Is it the fitbit website version or something?
Yes, that’s from the fitbit website under ‘log’ and then ‘food’. I have to calc the net carbs, tho -- it doesn’t do that -- and type them onto the screenshot of it. I like it tho, cos, unlike MFP, it gives percentages, which I find helpful.
