Rei was one of the few characters I had a hard time figuring out how to draw. I just…couldn’t capture that Hino essence. Then one day I figured it out. It’s all in the eyebrows lmaoooo.

My opinion on Weiss? Weiss Schnee? Heiress to the schnee dust company? Thats what you’re asking? Well I got two words for you: “Absolutely wonderful.” 

Being honest, like many i HATED weiss when she first came on. She was petty, annoying, and prejudiced. Arrogant and rude and entitled. That was volume one. Lots of people hated her in volume one. 

The thing is, Weiss is one of the BEST examples of character growth i have Ever seen. She was a petty rich spoiled icey brat, but she grew and changed and let go of her fathers ideas and his influence on her and eventually became her own person. It happened little by little and we learned why she acted how she did. Then suddenly she was a completely different person, but she was still so inherently Weiss. She didn’t suddenly become someone so different she was unrecognizable, she still Feels like the same person. That is TOP QUALITY writing if i’ve ever seen it. 

Now she’s a wonderful character and one of my favorites in the show. Even looking back at the early volumes I like her more retroactively because it was explained and shown and we Know where she ends up. Weiss Schnee is wonderful and deserves happiness for being not just a great character, but a character who is an amazing example of growth while still being true to herself.
