A look at a (wip) birthday gift for @kazul9 aka one of the most amazing humans in the world. This poem is based on Kaz’s A M A Z I N G fic Resplendent and y’all should check it out! I’m so sorry I didn’t manage to complete it in time, but I hope you like what I have so far.

it starts— like many stories do— with a war.   (the thing about war: it is waged by those with nothing to lose.            it is won and lost            by those who            have everything            on            the            line.)   death does not discriminate but death is a survivalist.   when the priestess keels and shudders a last breath the echoes of her final words hang heavy in the air. the babe, swaddled in his mother’s arms, falls silent.   there are omens Hiroko cannot begin to comprehend. (this is not one of them.)

(43) Do You Have Strange Dreams?If I actually had dreams/remembered them, probably....

I was really disappointed that Ambien didn’t live up to its hype! But what it did do was give me this really interesting... dyslexia? I was reading something and the words were just kinda popping outta the screen in the shapes of some really kickass baroque architecture? idk man, it promised weird dreams and didn’t deliver, but that was interesting and the only thing I have to make this answer interesting XD
