had a dream last night that Tumblr implemented a new 'stovetop' feature which allowed you to use the app to boil water. somehow this worked flawlessly and was generally hailed as 'the first good feature staff have ever made' despite countless incidents of people having burned themselves by using the app while their phone was full of boiling water
Fun writing idea for you and a few friends: Everyone takes turns writing a single short chapter for a story, continuing off from where the previous person left off.
The twist is that everyone randomly picks a genre at the start, and has to stick to that genre as best they can, while still preserving characters and situations and such from the previous chapter.
So everyone has to wrestle for control of the story as it abruptly changes from old lady murder mystery to space adventure to period piece to shonen action back to murder mystery and so on
Could be fun
i neeeeed to be more deliberate about the things i do. i've been sleepwalking through so much of my life on autopilot and i can't keep living like this. i need to practice choosing to do something and then actually doing it. i always feel better when i'm actually Doing Things instead of just...zoning out. i need to actually life my life. i need to wake up i need to wake up i need to wake up i need to wake up i need to wake up!!!

i'm willing to bet that like 99% of the people who say things like "i saw porn when i was young and it scarred me for life!" when it comes to adult content bans were actually scarred by the shame assigned to it by weird, puritanical views about sex rather than the actual pornography itself.
which is, y'know, an issue with society at large, and not pornography
