It's been a week since the new version update, but I haven't seen anyone really mention this; Skirk's signature weapon contains lore - or rather dialogue - of Seelies and first Seelie.

This prophecy is an interesting part, because it mentions all 4 major Seelies we know so far and their fatess - First Seelie, Nabu Malikata, Sybilla and Lord of the Night, respectively. Quite neato.

This one is also Phanes or the Heavenly Principles in general, I assume.

Exactly people got used to reading hc and shortfics that long fic writers don't get much appreciation as they deserve and continue to send hate to the on anon anddd I've been ranting abt it last month here.

mm i mean everyone's entitled to choose what they want to read, be it here or anywhere else. so you wouldn't find me shitting on ppl's choice to read hcs / smaus cos it's really none of my business - you do you, yknow?

but i'm someone who truly appreciates beautifully written fics. there's such poetry in evocative imagery, and emotionality in well thought out plots, and there's no two ways about it - there isn't enough written prose in hcs / smaus to scratch that itch.

it's...difficult being a longfic writer. i struggled with it a lot when i first started out here, comparing the amt of interaction / notes i got with other writers, wondering if it's because my writing is inferior, that's why i'm not getting much traction. but then as time passed i realised that it's really not me. ppl just don't have the time or attention span to commit to longfics these days.

so i've made my peace with it. i'm happy and honoured to write for those of you who take the effort to leave tags and notes - however brief and simple they might be, but most of all i just write for myself.

but there are so many fantastic writers out there who're being overlooked and they're leaving cos of it - and that to me is the greatest tragedy.
