Around the World || Shiori || Chapter 1 || Closed for Airi

It took some time for Shiori to be able to settle down and get his thoughts in order. Everything around him was far too vivid to be a dream, and somehow he found that reassuring. This was happening - it was horrifying, yes, but it was also real. He had no choice but to be honest about his situation and face it head on - denying things would be futile.
That wasn’t to say he was calm. His brain was still freaking out, and he knew it wouldn’t take a lot to drive him to a panic. His nerves were a bundled mess, and he really didn’t have the patience for a lot of things right now. He exhaled deeply and rubbed his temples. What the hell was he supposed to do now. He was right outside the castle gate, in the middle of the “kingdom,” when a question that’d been nagging at the back of his mind suddenly came to the forefront.
Just where were they?
He looked up at the sky and squinted. He knew this wasn’t their destination, but that didn’t narrow things down much. They’d all passed out in the bus, and then they’d just woken up here. There was no indication of how long they’d been out of it, or how far they traveled in that one, so it was really anyone’s guess. Perhaps there was someone who’d be able to read the stars to figure out where they were. Of course, that wouldn’t necessarily do much to help them.
The costume designer wasn't exactly paying attention to his surroundings as he faced upward, using his hand as a visor. It was easy for someone to approach him unnoticed. He looked down and flinched upon seeing a stranger standing there. "Fuck, don't sneak up on me like that."
