My experience at kcon australia

Imma keep it short and simple

Accidentally slept in and got to the arena at 9

Walked around for a bit

Met up with @xiubaek13 and hung out with her and her friends for a bit

Discovered that Kyungsoo wasn’t coming WHYYYY OF ALL PEOPLE IT HAD TO BE MY BIAS

Queued up for Victon hi touch (their hands are quite rough and Byungchan went for a handshake instead of a hi five. Seungsik did a small, really shy dab to the girl before me and it was very cute)

Lined up for an hour to get inside the convention (and they told me at the entrance that no bags were allowed but I was like fuck you I’m not lining up again and my bag is in the size limit so they let me through)

Honestly, the convention was very badly organised. They also did not seem to have adequate medical staff as a girl was lying on the floor bc of heatstroke and her friends had to fan her to keep her conscious.

The convention was shit. There were like 4 stalls and a stage. I got some free makeup done (just my eyebrows lmao) and walked around for a bit

Discovered that most food stalls don’t take cash so I bought a coke and a pack of spring rolls (that cost me $12.50 but I copped it because it was the only food item that took cash) and miserably sipped it for an hour

Missed the Girls’ Day audience engagement so I could line up for red carpet

I didn’t get a good vantage point at red carpet and at this point I was ready to neck myself because my feet were sore and I had bashed my shin against something and a bruise was forming

I miraculously got to the front of the line for the concert (after another hour of waiting) and got a barrier spot where the extended stage was right in front of me (bless up)

The dance group was cool and Kevin Woo is a bae

SF9 was first. Twas lit.

Pentagon was next. Gorilla is my jam

Chanyeol and a guest artist sang Stay With Me and it was beautiful. When he finished he exited the stage on my side and he had the smuggest look on his face when everyone started cheering for him cheeky lil shit

Victon were next. I held up a hand heart at Subin (not 100% sure, he had orange hair) and he sent me a heart back I am now a Victon stan

Girls’ Day was next and I screamed so much. Minah came over and I yelled “I love you” and she waved at me!!!

Exo performed 5 songs and I’ve never screamed so much in my life. Everyone except Minseok came over to my side of the stage. I’m pretty sure I made eye contact with Sehun! Also, they’re a lot shorter than I expected lol but their skin is absolutely flawless

Left the stadium shaking and my left ear ringing

All in all, it was a pretty shit day to begin with. 90% of my time was spent queuing and sitting but the concert definitely made up for it. I’ll post videos later but for now, good night.

Kcon last night was one of the best nights of my life. So Many things happened and I am so happy.
