KEYDIY Clamp Adapters Used with BMW BDC2 BDC3 VW 5C 5D Guide
KEYDIY Clamp Adapters (like BDC03/BDC02 Solder-free Adapter) are compatible with KD-X4, KD-MAX and other devices, allowing you to add BMW BDC2/BDC/BCP and VAG MQB49 5C 5D key without soldering.
KEYDIY Clamp Adapters Detailed Breakdown
Follow these step-by-step instructions:
1.Disassemble the Original Key
Carefully pry open the back cover of your original car key. Remove the internal PCB circuit board completely.
2.Connect the Adapter to the PCB
Place the circuit board onto the adapter card.
Ensure the board is sitting perfectly flat and seated correctly.
Slide both sides of the adapter inward to lock the circuit board in place.
Double-check that every single pin aligns perfectly one-to-one.
Tip: If the pins are misaligned, the tool won't be able to read the data properly.
3.Check the Adapter Ports
The clamp adapter is designed with two connection interfaces.
4.Link the Adapter to your Programmer
Plug the other end of your KD Clamp Adapter into your KEYDIY device, such as Keydiy KD-X4 5-in-1 key programmer or KD-Max Remote Maker. You may need to use a specific connecting wire harness depending on your device.
5. Read and Clone Data
Power on your KEYDIY device and connect it to your mobile app via Bluetooth. Navigate to the IMMO programming or Smart Key Clone section (e.g., BMW G/U Chassis BDC3) and follow the on-screen prompts to read the chip data and generate your new remote.
6. Finalize the New Remote
Once the data is successfully read, place the new key's PCB (such as the KD FGB Series Key) into the KEYDIY induction coil area to complete the key generation.
