Installing KDE 4.9 on Ubuntu
Just a quick heads up to you all that KDE 4.9 has been released. Expect a review soon. If you want a quick script to set it up for you then: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y kubuntu-desktop Copy that, type in a terminal, press enter a few times (when it asks you if you want to use LightDM or KDM choose KDM if you want the complete KDE experience). Oh and if you want to change back from KDM to LightDM: sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm Happy KDEing!
