Lol, if people look for fights DGM is in the wrong place, dgm is about trauma and grieving not pointless fights where people just boast about their abilities and how invincible they are, if they want fight after fight with no special meaning there's Bleach, Hellsing Ultimate OVA or Dragon Ball or just basically any action movie. You require a certain degree of maturity and life experience to resonate with DGM's deeper meaning.
^^^^^^^^^^
the only fight they will truly find in dgm is me fighting them irl for badmouthing the manga
But ye I completely agree. While there are fights in dgm, idk, i always found them so heavy as in like, you feel how much stakes there are in them and they are all emotional. The story isn’t a classical “we need to get better and stronger to achieve our dreams”. Hell, I don’t even get how you can expect that while in the manga, Allen actually states that if he can’t be a weapon in the war he has no will nor reason to live. How can you expect something from the story that isn’t there?
And like, isn’t there enough shounen out there so you could leave dgm alone? Like, there are plenty of Shounen out there, some even have a really pretty artstyle, all whiel focusing on fights, focus on them, leave dgm alone oh my god.
(although ngl that last sentence gives me r.ick and m.orty f.andom vibes jkfhdjkf i get the meaning though, I do think that you like, need to be aware about at least mental health issues to really get into dgm :/)
guuuh i hate this. I’m gonna fight;
