John's small hand reached out to grip his Sherlock's, curling gently around his bigger one, like a small, lost child. Sherlock smiled down at him, kissing softly at his temple and rubbing his belly.
"My little John," he rumbled softly, his large hand caressing John's soft belly, his fingers tickling over the sides. "Are you happy here, my John? Are you happy here with me?"
John, seated in between the detective's legs, nestled there within his tall and lanky form, leaned back his head to expose his tanned neck, smiling up at his lover. Pressing a kiss to the underside of his chin, and then another, and another, soft little loving butterfly kisses.
"I have never," John murmured, his lips vibrating against the skin of Sherlock's throat, "been happier. Never." His fingers curled around Sherlock's, tanned and white, as though he were gripping at a lifeline; Sherlock murmured a noise at how adorable John was. Always was. He could not believe he was so lucky, to have this gorgeous creature lying here and happy in his arms.
"Neither have I," murmured the lanky detective. And he leaned down and pressed his lips to John's, and when they kissed, their skin was seared with fireworks, the two lovers of 221b.
Okay so I juuust relistened to Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl, right, and first off I never realized how horrible the lyrics were ("it's not how girls are supposed to behave"? Really?) except
after watching it
