I just want to add to all of this for a moment and address some arguments. No, Shane doesn't HAVE to do anything to prove they aren't real, but at the same time... Maybe he does?? He's three seasons in on a very popular ghost hunting show, and while the wild skeptic thing is funny, it's getting annoying. He's just arguing for the sake of arguing without actually proving any of his points. I want real counter arguments, I want him to throw doubt onto my beliefs, I love being challenged intellectually. He's a great guy, but Ryan puts so much work and effort into this show while Shane just sits there and says "nah" without any explanation.
