Just finished Isle of blood for the 5th time.

Kearns’ death always messes me up, because he sort of deserved it, I mean, he is a really awful person and he was extra evil in this book. But also…. Aww.

He’s such an annoying little rat towards the end as well, I don’t really feel sad I just sort of pity him. It’s mentioned that he doesn’t really have a way out either, the British government are after him, the Russians are after him, where is he supposed to go??, he was always destined to die on that island honestly.

Was telling my friend about my fictional crushes a while ago, and I got to watch their smile drop as they realised that every fictional crush I have had has just been John Kearns in a different form.
