thanks for the other blogs! cant wait to follow and annoy the hell outta them instead haha, also i just wanted to point out my opinion for the first few eps of S3, i was gonna do an Ask but the characters ran out
so i fucking love these dumbasses, like Eddie really is that type of hero to rush into danger and just save people, i love it, but its also so funny, and KT is just reacting to all the weirdness of this place and how straightforward Eddie is like “We’re not sneaking into our teachers house on the first week of school right?” “Pff, we totally are.” It just makes me laugh, Eddie is very action forward while Nina always waited for the right moment, it certainly shows their differences. Because we all know if it was Nina having those visions of KT and her key, she would be telling Fabian and they would be investigating her and then Amber’s bracelet and everything would come in and I’m guessing she’d befriend KT, after all, Eddie’s first vision of her was when she was with her sick grandpa so I guess Nina would relate.
But I really did like Amber bringing them together and before that, Eddie and KT working together and then the rest of Sibuna sorta working away from them, like it was an interesting dynamic, something I didn’t think I’d see because when you think about it, Eddie only really had Patricia and maybe Mara to talk to. He never really made a best friend, just a girlfriend last year. So, now that Nina’s gone and everyone’s worried about her, and he’s single, he doesn’t have anyone to talk to, I can only imagine how lonely he must of felt. But then came KT and they sorta just fell into a partnership. And they work so well together, just Eddie wanting to rush into the danger and KT just being like “Are you crazy? Eddie? Get back here!” Is such a funny dynamic duo. I used to ship them but now I’m starting to not I guess? I just love friendship duos and these are immediately brought together by fate and ancient Osirian visions on Eddie’s part, but I think it’s meant to be, imagine how lonely they must have been feeling before they partnered up together, like they couldn’t talk about his visions or her quest with anyone else because they didn’t have anyone else and now they sorta do? This just became hella pro-Keddie friendship.
Also I just saw Victor and Sweet playing some Egyptian card game with Sweet wearing the strangest hat and he’s the winning the game and all Victor can say and I quote, “I am allowing you to win.” with that voice of his, it’s just a fucking hilarious scene to have and i love it so much
ahahah yeah I remember loving KT bc I related to her a lot and she was so funny and the perfect dynamic to the group :) I’ve literally never thought about the parallel between KT ‘s grandfather and nina’s grandmother like wow that one blew right past me. and I do agree that they’d become fast friends :) also your point about how eddie didn’t make a lot of friends his first year was super interesting and I loved it. like he was friends with mara and jerome but with their problems together he never got a chance to Really connect with them. i mean he even excuses his own getting close to mara as they had time to spare ghost hunting. connecting with KT and having a proper best friend was something I think he really needed
