There are honestly so many variances in ME1 you just can’t account for in a single PT, I ran into the same thing with my Ashley romance transcript. I did two different runs of Virmire just to get her different dialogue if you paragoned her vs if you don’t. Some lines change depending on Shep’s profile makeup. What decisions you make, who you have recruited, and yeah what order you do the missions in 

So honestly yeah, don’t sweat over it just do how you want and if you ever replay and still want to transcript stuff, you can just do it in a different way then

I already worry no one is reading them rn because it’s MShep that I’m using ^^’

My next project is going back and changing all the parts where FShep has a different dialogue, and like you said, there are a lot of variations. 

I also hope that when I’m done, someone who has trouble playing the games (for many reasons, disability included) can just pick my transcripts of ME1 and get a good experience reading it. Like “I want to read the adventures of MShep in ME1 where he’s a Paragon” -> transcript available. It tells you all the moves made by Shepard, where he’s going, why, who he’s meeting, the options he had but the ones he picked (ideally I’ll change it so there are two versions - one where you see dialogues options, another where you can just read it like a script)

And if you want the same with FShep, no problems. So I have a big interest in following the usual order picked. Ah it’s fine. I can go back and record while transcribing MEA in the meantime :)

💕 tell us about one of your favorite characters and why you like them!

FMA: I have… too many favorite characters to list but Ling is always up there in the top 3 at any given time. and it’s funny because I actually hated him when I was first watching this show, I thought he was annoying af, but by the Hunting Homunculi arc, I was coming around to him because I realized the goofy idiot was entirely a front. by the time he took in Greed, I loved and already missed him; I feel like he’s a “don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone” kind of character. I realized that the annoying doofy persona is… partly real, yeah, but also a front so that he comes off unthreatening to his rival siblings, and that for a guy whose main ambition is seeking immortality to win the throne for his country, he’s… really pretty cool about it. he’s as honorable as you can be about it, given the circumstances. the moral aspects of that don’t need explaining to him. he KNOWS it’s an immense responsibility. he cares deeply about his country but doesn’t care about his own pride. he wants money and power to protect those under him. he would never ask the people serving him to die for him, but he’s willing to do it for them. he doesn’t need to be convinced to break with old-fashioned tradition; he’s already there. like, I’ve just never really seen those traits before in a character that still makes sense? and THEN he fuses with Greed, and teaches a demon how to have a heart, and we see how he views his ambition and his lust for power, not as something evil, but necessary to protect what matters to him. AND THEN by the end, he’s willing to give it all up in a heartbeat, this thing he’s traveled across the country and accepted a demon for, risking his position on the throne and the fate of his clan back home returning without it, he’s willing to give up to save a friend in an instant. like, he gets it. he gets that nothing is worth anything if you sacrifice people for your own goals. you know that he understands. I love it and I love him 💕

Steins;Gate: Kurisu Makise is my favorite character. I probably relate to her a little too much. I couldn’t tell you why. she’s a genius, and emotionally reserved to the point of extreme stereotype, but god is she lonely. despite her own shyness she has just this immense emotional intelligence and ability to look out for others. we aren’t very similar on the outside but I still feel weirdly connected to her. she has always felt the character most ‘human’ to me in the show, in terms of the type of person I’d probably be most likely to run into and make friends with.

How I feel about this character: um, she’s my mom? in reality I don’t know if I would like her cause in real life I get nervous around anyone with real authority (cops, politicians, etc) but yknow. so long as it’s a Shepard with morals

All the people I ship romantically with this character: I like a lot of the canon romances, but: Garrus, Kaidan, Ashley, Jack, Miranda, Thane on a minor level… I could also see Aria in a really fucked up way. I used to really like Shepard/Tali and Shepard/Tali/Garrus until I realized what an age difference there is between them :(

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Anderson!!! I want a prequel where we play as Anderson and Shepard ends up as like, a companion you can pick for missions

My unpopular opinion about this character: Shepard’s a soldier, and all that entails. in Jennifer Hale’s own words, “Military people do not get what they want by being emotional.” I am more fascinated by realistic depictions of a female Shepard as a commanding officer (emphasis on the strategist and tactician aspect of her role), not the high-heels slay-a-man-with-winged-eyeliner renegade Weaponized Feminism kind of woman. more Olivier Armstrong and Riza Hawkeye style characterization, god please

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: bitch where do I start. I mean obviously I wish we had a cooler ending, and a prequel where we could play Shepard’s origin stories and the path that leads them to the Normandy, but really I’ll take any more content I can get

FENRIS

How I feel about this character: I keep forgetting to show Fenris love but he deserves it. he’s a rough around the edges guy and he would not let me baby him but he deserves good things.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Hawke, mostly, but I’m so particular about my preferred brand of fenhawke that most of the time when I see fandom shipping them, I’d prefer Fenris to just be on his own lmfao

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Varric, Isabela, Bethany. also to a lesser extent, Donnic. I think those relationships help just as much as Hawke does in helping Fenris trust and grow a sense of independence

My unpopular opinion about this character: I hate most forms of mage!Hawke/Fenris. sorry @ all of fandom (but that’s why I keep my yap shut)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish the rivalry romance was written differently, though that’s not a Fenris-specific thing. I like the idea of rivalry romances in general but I don’t like how his seems to culminate in breaking his confidence in himself, and how he just kind of ends up associating romance/intimacy with bitterness and reservations, instead of mutual respect in a growing partnership

My unpopular opinion about this character: hmmmm it’s been a long time since i’ve been in this fandom so i can’t really remember. aside from, i guess i think of him as an introvert? very bombastic and proud and loud when he’s in the public eye, but he really values alone time, or even time he’s just able to be quiet with someone else (yuugi) and not being judged/looked at

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: HE DESERVED TO GROW UP!!!! nah i’m glad his story ended the way it did, it was perfect and he was ready to move on, but he never got to grow old :(

How I feel about this character: the best written “problematic” character if u know what i mean. dude is a beast, but also yknow what he did and you know what he’s capable of. good writing good character

All the people I ship romantically with this character: he has a massive and everlasting crush on riza hawkeye, which like, don’t we all

My non-romantic OTP for this character: edward, all of his team, ling yao (who he definitely works with after ling becomes emperor)

My unpopular opinion about this character: he’s a slytherin and he’s not as good a person as riza tbh

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: i'm not a fan of how they handled his blindness, at the very least i wish they had made it ambiguous if he’d accepted the stone or not. i don’t begrudge him or anyone else for using the stone for good -- it’s arguably the ‘lesser of two evils’ and the kindest sort of euthanasia for the souls trapped in it -- but it’s curing a disability which i know ppl have issues with
