day six. favorite ‘yes, ressler, we know you love liz’ moment
five words. i can’t let her go. sure, it could be taken to mean that he can’t let fugitive liz go, but at this point, after two years of working with her, of helping her, of being with her during her times of need, of caring about her, it’s got to mean more than him just doing his job. those words hold meaning and this is an extremely powerful scene.
Keenler Week
Day 5 - Favorite Case
I was so happy to see them working together again. All their scenes were incredibly beautiful. And of course Liz’s “I know you’re worried about me, and i appreciate it.” - oh..my Keenler heart ❤️
So it may just be an ordinary, non-too-special, thin blanket handed out by medics by the thousand. But in Keenler land, it’s special. It’s very special. From a lonely wooded path, to the back of an ambulance, to an empty swimming pool, the lowly blue blanket will forever be a symbol of Keenler comfort. So on Keenler Week free choice day, I present for you, the inconspicuous, nondescript little blue blanket that makes Keenler hearts sing.
↳ Day 3 - Wednesday April 5th: Favorite quote (can be something they said in the show or any other one)
I love this dialogue between Liz and Ressler in The Scimitar and I find the parallel of her fear and his “reality” very interesting. She only had to think it in a small span of time for it scare her. Poor Ressler had live that terrifying reality. I still want long for them to actually talk about that.
How do I pick just one thing when I love everything about them? I truly adore them together and think they complement each other in every way. They really care about each other and have a relationship based on mutual trust and respect, and that matters to me.
I think ultimately for me, my favorite thing about them comes down to their partnership and chemistry. They’re so badass as partners out in the field, but they’re capable of having just as intense chemistry in private moments. They understand each other so well that often, words aren’t needed between them. The mooneyes and their body language say it all.
They’ve gone through so much together, starting day one when they met and survived the attack on the bridge together, just as they’ve survived so much else together. I love that we’ve been able to see their relationship grow and evolve onscreen from hostile strangers to partners and friends and more.
To me, Ressler and Liz’s relationship is central to the show, just after Red and Liz’s in terms of importance. It’s a shame that their screen time together has gone down, but I have hope still for their relationship. They have so much left to explore and say there, and I’m hoping they will!

Sorry for the late post today, life got in the way! Also, I’m not really loving the edit I made, but it was what I whipped up today. I might try to do a better partner/chemistry one later if I have time.
Lady Ambrosia is one of my top-favorite episodes. Keenler is half the reason.
At first glance, I see how it gives this comparison of things in current day, but
in looking at it more... I actually believe it's giving a glimpse into the future.
From scene cuts, to the dialogue, to the soundtrack. It’s Keenler, both gorgeous and sad. Ressler in the end scene. The pain in his face, in the way he walks away. It’s episodes like this that give me hope. Because I can feel it... and imagine it. The Djinn fantasy of Ressler walking out with those children. Beautiful heartbreaking stuff.
The theme for the day is, what’s your favorite case? From the looks on Liz and Ressler’s faces, we here at Daily Keenler are pretty confident in saying that Ruslan Denisov is probably not their favorite, but it is one of ours!
