Hi. I'm Derek with weBoost. I'll show you everything you need to know about the Connect 4G Cell Phone Signal Booster. Signal boosters work by taking a weak signal outside of your home, boosting it and sending the strong boosted signal throughout your home or building. This improves your data and call quality up to 32 times, so you'll have fewer dropped calls and faster data speeds on all of your cellular devices. Unlike specific carrier solutions, weBoost Signal Boosters work with any cellular device on any carrier, which can come in handy if you should change carriers or have multiple users on multiple carriers in your home or office. And a booster doesn't require an internet connection to work, so they're perfect if you don't have an internet connection, like at a cabin, or at a remote location or you don't want to eat up your internet bandwidth by using your cell phone. Cell phone signal boosters amplify weak cell signals to give you strong coverage within your home. The amount of coverage you'll get inside of your home depends on the amount of signal strength you've got outside. The more you've got to work with outside of your home, the more coverage area you can get inside. For example, with the Connect 4G, if you've got three bars of signal outside of your home, you can cover about 5,000 square feet inside, whereas if you've just got one bar of signal outside, you're looking at covering something like a room or two. It's also worth noting that the signal bars on your phone are not very accurate. Two bars on one phone can be four bars on another, even though they're both receiving the same amount of signal. Speaking of signal bars, it may not look like a lot jumping up just one bar and signal. But going from two to three bars can have a huge impact on your call quality and your data speeds. So if you flip your booster on and see an improvement of a bar or so, keep in mind that going from one to two or three bars easily doubles your signal strength and may be as much as 100 times stronger. We've heard from our customers that they've stopped dropping calls completely with what appears to be only a small gain in signal, according to the bars on their phone. For a more accurate reading of your signal level, we recommend putting your phone into test mode. This shows you a numeric reading of your exact signal level, instead of general bars or dots. We'll show you how, in this video. The Connect 4G comes with an outside antenna, signal booster, an inside antenna and cable to connect all the components together. The outside antenna is a specially designed directional antenna that you point at the cell tower to capture the strongest possible signal, which it then sends to the booster. The booster amplifies the cell signal and sends it to the inside antenna. The inside antenna then broadcasts a stronger cell signal throughout your home. To install the Connect 4G, you'll mount the outside antenna on the roof and aim towards a cell tower. Run the cable from the antenna into your home and to the signal booster and connect it. Install the inside antenna where you need the cell signal and connect it to the signal booster using the supplied cable. Then power it up, and you're done. WeBoost Cell Phone Signal Boosters are the best-selling signal boosters in the US and Canada, and they've been trusted by first responders for years. All of our boosters feature patented automatic gain control, which constantly checks and adjusts the booster for peak performance. If an incoming signal is too strong, the booster simply adjusts itself down and continues to provide you with strong cell signal. This is important, as other boosters will simply shut off if they experience an overpowering incoming signal, providing you with no signal coverage whatsoever. All of our boosters are also designed and built in the United States. Still have questions about the Connect 4G?
