So before I try to catch up on a day's worth of Tumblr goodness...

I'm riding high on the resoundingly blue 🌊 in today's elections, as well as the decisive passage of Prop 50 in CA. We have to keep it up. We can't afford to be complacent. It's time the leaders of this country once more reflect the values and diversity of the majority of the people living here, not the New American Oligarchy that wants to keep us poor, uneducated, and sick.

I've been grinning like an idiot for the last hour. It feels good. It feels like hope. ❤️

Woke in the Black community literally means keeping yourself informed, and keep up with what's happening in America and the world. Keeping your eyes peeled, "Stay Woke" meant being aware. Now MAGA loves their little word switch a roos like "Let's go Brandon" "Lock her up" and all that BS...but their so-called hijacking of the word woke was always laughable....it's so easy to decode them for mostly it was another word they could use for the "N" word or "N" word- LOVER. I still say "Stay Woke". Many of us slipped in the last election I'll never understand why but let's try to shit again with MIDTERS. Note while you can. RESIST. We also know what they are really saying when they call Black people "Woke" and "DEI hire"...we know how to read them 10X better than they can read us. We know their 🦝🦝🦝's keep them informed on our doings. You all had better wake up and start not being so nonchalant about voting.

Quit listening to propaganda mouthed by people who are our skin color but not our kin. Some of us will do anything to be with them, thinking that elevates them. Self-haters are dangerous.
