There used to be cosplay meet ups in the Little Tokyo mall until cosplayers were getting obnoxious embarrassing the community to local businesses. Hence why I don’t feel comfortable cosplaying in Little Tokyo unless there’s an official event going on. I made our Kagura’s cosplay. This was my first commission. It was made from scrap fabric I had from my grandma. My grandma also made my uniform. I also had to borrow a wig for Hanajima. #keepcosplayweird I love @heycutsew’s tag campaign. I have a lot of stories and photos to back me up here. So, this photo was taken backstage during Anime Central masquerade. So like, this was one of those skits that had unrelated anime mashed into one skit - Slayers, Sorcerer Hunters, Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, and Read or Die. That’s me as Yomiko Readman from ROD in a pure closet cosplay. The skit was the cast of Sorcerer Hunters and Slayers went head to head in a trivia show hosted by Prof. Tomoe. The prize would be a gundam.
