Readers first year teaching, her Ancient Magic class had one person in it,

Her 5th year teaching it’s a class of 10 who made it in and there was a total of 100 applicants.

I can see the Marauders and Snape occasionally making comments that she doesn’t have to work as hard because the class size is small but then they shrink away when she pulls out her lesson plans for that class specifically.

yesssssss. see, this is the kind of class Hermione would have FOUGHT to get into.

Snape would be so petty and make silly remarks until he realizes that reader frequently takes the students to various ancient magic hotspots among the highlands, tours the store of ancient magic below Hogwarts, and gives demonstrations frequently, ALONGSIDE teaching actual lectures, assigning essays/research, etc!!

you can bet that jackson would always use cheesy pickup lines 

like “you’re the keeper of my heart”

or “you’re definitely a keeper to me”

and every time he does, you’re obligated to smack him

but then blush because it’s cheesy when other people do it but adorable when he says it, okay?

anyways, you guys are always arguing about which team is better

and the official rankings always switch between gryffindor and ravenclaw

so you’ll never really know who’s better until the house cup finals

but up until then, you’ll go to your grave swearing that ravenclaw is better

and of course jackson claims it’s gryffindor

but you’ll always support each other

and the amount of red/gold you own for those days that gryffindor plays either slytherin or hufflepuff is too much honestly

sometimes your teams will have practice matched with each other

and this isn’t taken seriously by either of you

it’s just jackson doing outrageous plays and throws

and you trying not to die of laughter as you block from the rings

but when it’s an official match

it’s 100% serious

and you’re determined to stop any and all shots that come your way

but on the off chance that jackson does manage to score

you’ll just clap it off and tell your team that it’s okay

and that you’ll get the next one

because even though he’s your loving, dorky boyfriend off the pitch

you’re fully focused on winning the match

but then of course, afterwards, if you win, he’d congratulate you and hug you and tell you how perfect you are

and if he wins, you’d wrap him in a hug and commend him for his many amazing shots

because when it comes down to it

you’re on the same team after all <3
