She almost frowned when the other being called her that-- she had not been Eve of Eden for a very long time.
After Cain and Abel, she'd left with the monsters that she had begun to create. She decided that she wasn't really a human any more-- God had only reinforced this idea by locking her away in Purgatory.
"Abel," she greeted, eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
"You were meant to be dead."
(He was not part of her family now; her family were the beings she'd birthed. Vampires, werewolves, ghouls, skinwalkers, on and on goes the list of children that made up her new family.)
