April 5th at The Bluebird: ETC!ETC!, TWRK, JodyFree, and Lodiac
Just two nights after an appearance by Zeds Dead at The Bluebird, be ready to welcome DJ/producer ETC!ETC! to the booth. His early explorations in dance music gravitate towards electro house, but he eventually transitioned to the world of moombahton, which has served him well. He is signed to Mad Decent and has done collaborations with many other notable producers, including Diplo, Brillz, Major Lazer, Bro Safari, AC Slater, Protohype, and more. Some of you may recall a recent visit to us from one of our other favorite moombahton artists, Valentino Khan, who teamed up with ETC!ETC! last year to bring us a playful track called "Eat It". Joining ETC!ETC!, Keepin' it Deep presents TWRK, a.k.a. Benzi and Esentrik. TWRK has been selected for "DJ's To Watch In 2014" by Vibe, is in Run The Trap's Top Ten Duos, has been featured in Diplo and Friends on BBC Radio One, and has had one of their remixes appear on Diplo's Revolution EP. Diplo has worked closely with both Benzi and Esentrik during their individual careers, which is a testament to how creative and talented these two already are by themselves. Together as TWRK, they are able to focus and combine their skills to bring us some of the juiciest twerktastic tracks around.
Our local talent includes a little bit of sugar and spice, with chillwave vibes coming from Lodiac, and hyped up trap brought to us by JodyFree. Lodiac's productions are very ethereal and have a tendency of making you feel like your head is in the clouds, while JodyFree likes to bring a lot of heat to his sets and get everybody throwin' elbows up.
