Reading this one- I realize how I've progressed emotionally, and it's pretty amazing- and I want this for everybody going through depressive times- to get better and be happy. Like I know I'm not totally happy, but I'm better off than when I was a teenager, and I want everyone to have their-progressions...? Does that sound weird? Lol There were a couple of embarrassing times when my sister caught me writing depressing, super "emo" things (not this poem- it was far from a positive ending) that I did not want her to read, ahah... like "No! Don't read that!" *freaks out trying to cover screen* hahaa you know what I mean? Ya 😅😬 It's so cool though that I don't break down so badly anymore... Just a message for those in bad times- you'll get better 👍🏼 it'll be different someday #positivewriting #itllgetbetter #strokesurvivor #anysurvivor #keeponsurvivin
There goes my hero 😄❤️🎶 Seriously, I've realized listening to my MP3 should just be my first option if ever I'm stressed or upset. It's just like, "Ok I'm better. What were you saying?" #teehee #antidrug #strokesurvivor #keeponsurvivin #pleasedontstopthemusic 🤘🏼
Singing was really very important to me when I was growing up. I sang all the time, I believed that singing would keep the monsters away wen I was really real little 😆 I loved singing, I was good, it was great when people said I sounded good. So after my stroke when I was 15 and my singing/speech was basically brought down to Level 0, I was like ☠ lol I don't want to sound depressing, but really, it did hurt, it's still a big downer today. But I make the best of what I have 🙏 and what I have right now is honestly better than Level 0. 👏🏼✌🏼️❤️ Lesson: Be thankful for what you have, make the best of it, don't take anything or anyone for granted- cuz it can be gone tomorrow #keeponsurvivin #nobodysperfect
