LEAVING TRASH ON THE BEACH IS AN ATROCITY! Today was an awesome day in the shop. First hot, sunny gorgeous day. I saw so many new faces and just as many friends. I was broken hearted, but not surprised to learn this evening, that so many of Rockaway's glorious shores, were trashed. It is ALL OF OUR responsibility to keep our environment clean. If you bring it, leave with it! Every single tiny little piece. A local mermaid friend told me she was surfing with used condoms, chip bags, straws, bottle caps, all kinds of junk. I mean, we are just getting into the season, folks. TOGETHER, let's leave the beaches better than we found em. Find-a-bag & Fill-a-bag. If you see something, pick it up and throw it in a trash bin. And for those of you that come visit, please SPREAD THE WORD. No one wants to visit a dirty beach, and certainly, no one wants to live on one.
