Here's Namine in a dusty room. I'm too impatient to finish an animation and I reeeeaally wanted to draw her already ಸ_ಸ
Also i just finished enlightening my mother about instagram and the all other opportunities that the internet has opened for us people who love to draw. Back in her day when internet was still nonexistent in our country and when jobs for illustration and art didn't pay much people told her:
"You can't earn money from drawing."
" A degree in fine arts (there was no multimedia arts or anything then) won't mean much (because it doesn't pay much)."
My mother is good at drawing. Honestly one reason I love to draw was because I saw one of her old sketchpads. It was both inspiring and sad because the drawings were beautiful, but also few. She didn't even finish the thin sketch pad.
I know now I can't live without art. It feeds my soul and fuels my mind. And I promised myself I won't give it up. I'm happy I've already filled so many sketchbooks, technology has evolved so that we can draw with just a computer, and there's now the Internet to connect me to the world and see more of it that I can't physically go to.
One day I'll get my mom back into drawing for sure.
