Its been so long since she celebrated such a day, for all of Hyrule. Having been trapped 100 years, she missed hearing those words.
At first, Mipha watched the amused faces, performed by the zoras kids, bliss evident around her peoples. Albeit, her attention would eventually divert towards the present knight.
Her smile was instantaneous, appreciating the thought but also returning it. ‘’Thank you, Happy new year for you as well, Link’’. She knew, even though the great evil was banished, typical monsters still roamed the lands. It would not be an easy year but now was not the time to worry, but to rejoice.
LIGHT CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT DARKNESS, a term of wisdom our hero learnt from a hermit. They simply had to shine brighter, ‘till darkness cowered. Our silenced hero lit a small firecracker, craning it in-between them; a wonder which showered her silhouette in a splendour of lights.
His promise could’ve been fulfilled here, now; to spend lost time & make up for all the suffering she’d endured. Not that a simple fire-cracker could serve as a plaster, but, Link’s lips parted into a sincere smile. They’d make this world better, one way or another & together ━━━ ( that was his silent new year’s resolution. )
