âSkyview temple. Have you ever heard of the place? Itâs⊠well⊠it should be clear that itâs my first time hearing of this place. All of the legends Iâve read about the Surface did not mention certain locations like this temple. If Iâm going to be honest with you, Link, Iâm a bit scared. I donât know whatâs waiting there for me⊠but I feel like something is if that makes any sense.âÂ
She did not know what awaited her there. Could not know what awaited her there. Yet the temple would be the first step to her awakening, her knowledge in learning of the ephemeral and gold divinity that was just there yet quite not. However, ever resilient is the magnolia flower. Itâs delicate petals blossoming within her chest as the perseverance emits from said petals; and though the apocalyptic virulence that simply exudes from the darkness that lurks beneath the Sealed Temple threatens to melt away the flower, that flower would remain steadfast. She wore determination as though it were an armor (though many would come to an agreeance that she was nothing more than stubborn, a trait that she did not view as a bad thing).Â
Coming to a stop in what she believed to be a blind spot from the beasts that roamed around Faron Woods (in search of her no doubt about it), calculating eyes look around the area, taking note of all of the spots that were hidden away from the one-tracked minded monsters. Earlier, sheâd play witness to their⊠less than intelligent nature. They were brutish, relying on violence and their high numbers to corner Zelda. But aye, she was a clever one with a resourceful enough mind. She was certain that she could find a way to the temple without detection.Â
âLooks like thereâs a lot of monsters here. I think we should stay under the cover of the trees and away from the path for now. I donât think that theyâd venture deep into the woods where the temple is⊠but⊠I might be wrong in that, so letâs keep an eye out once we do reach that area, alright?âÂ
So off the trail she went, she clutched onto her harp, fear has gripped her but she went through with her plan. Zeldaâs gaze not once leaving where the pathway had led as it was the only clue as to where Skyview Temple was. She held onto her sage wisdom tightly, clutched it close to her heart. Zelda needed to practice in said prudence, especially since Link (how strange it was that she so immediately accepted this shade as her childhood friend) was now under her care. She did not doubt that he could fend for himself, yet worry bleeds into her kind heart as such anxiety that he may get hurt did not dissolve away. So she vowed. Vowed that he will not get into any danger much less any fights while she was around.Â
If Zelda hadnât heard of a place, then it was all-but guaranteed that Link wouldnâtâve. There was no point in actually saying that, since it felt a bit like it was just-- common sense that he would be less aware than she was-- and merely nodded quietly as she talked. Skyview Temple.Â
The name did ring a... small bell for him. Something in the back of his mind felt like it had heard the name before, or at least knew where it was located. Easier to focus on that vague name than the nothing and no goal that he had before, at the very least, but there was also a small spike of worry that lived there. The only reason he had for knowing the name is if it was a place important to him, and despite his rather firm claims that he existed to only protect Zelda, in the pit of his stomach Link couldnât help but worry that the opposite was true.Â
â... are you sure?â He already knew what her answer would be, but it felt important to ask her. âIf thereâs going to be danger there, are you sure you want to go?â No doubt she had a job there, but... if she chose to turn her back on whatever duty it was she felt she needed to accomplish, Link would not stop her. Link would not judge her.
He nodded but frowned as they continued forward, keeping a close out on the bokoblins in the area and hiding back in the shadows until the few patrols slipped away. â... I could fight them.â Link mostly mumbled the words to himself as he reached back to light run his fingers along the hilt of his blade. He was fairly certain he knew how to use it. He could get rid of them so that Zelda didnât have to worry about them. â-- Why donât you fight them?â
