hm.. reminded of an old vampire au prompt. thinking of zoey ordinary college student just trying to get home one night and gets yoinked by vampire mira to a dark alley. vampire mira who takes one bite but then spits it out like yuuuck and demands what the hell is wrong with your blood why does it taste like shit go get that checked out????? and zoey goes Excuse Me???? holding her bleeding neck, entirely too offended being told her blood is stanky that she skips over the shock of vampires being real and being really hot and she maybe almost died
so obviously zoey does not become vampire dinner and life goes on except life has also become a series of events of mira randomly showing up to go WHY HAVENT YOU GONE TO THE HOSPITAL and zoey going WITH WHAT HEALTHCARE because theyre in america ig (and, internally, if i fix something that makes you keep visiting me why would i) and a whole bag of extremely outdated gold coins show up in zoey's mail at some point and zoey also finds mira in the dorm kitchen making her a healthy salad??
and also they fall in love. obviously.
