DIY: Luggage ID Tag
"So when traveling one should always have an ID tag on their check-in luggage so the airport employees can easily differentiate which luggage is yours in case it goes missing and so that YOU can easily spot your own luggage as it moves along the conveyer belt."
And so I created a lil fun idea to make a simple, personalized, and reusable ID luggage tag. ( ^ - ^ )v
Here's how it works:
Materials Needed:
Paper
Scissors or a Trim Cutter(?)
CPU
Some kind of word processor
Printer
String or Ribbon
Lanyard
ID Plastic Cover thingy
1) First you open up your word processor on either Mac or Windows. Here I'm using Pages on my MacBook Pro.
2) Choose a templete for Business Cards. Personally I'm using the Classic Business Card template.
3) Now for me, most of my personal info was filled in automatically but this is when you personalize it.
4) Print it out and Cut along the lines.
5) Fold it up like a brochure and place it into a ID tag cover thing (haha idk what's it's called exactly)
6) Voila! Now you can use a simple ribbon or string to tie it to your luggage bag and afterwards you can totally convert it into a useful ID lanyard.
***Now another reason I also made this is so we can carry around our train passes easily once we purchase them in Europe.***
Have fun making your own and if you do please show them off and photo reply!!! ( ^ w ^ )/<3
