hello lovelies! i'm back making cc (well this collection anyway). i havent given up on the cottage picnic collab, i just got really inspired to do this set! i dont think ive said this before but i actually do ballet! have done since i was little and picked it up again last year. so this is my homage to my love of ballet. i hope you like this set :) the ballet shoes i used can be found here. glissade means 'to glide' for those that are curious.

This collaboration was made in an effort to raise awareness for the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan. The museum, opened in 2001, showcases the art of Japanese animation studio, Studio Ghibli, who created many of our beloved childhood favourites, such as Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and Howl’s Moving Castle. The museum has suffered financially due to COVID restrictions and a fundraising campaigned was launched back in June to help keep it afloat. Though the campaign has already surpassed its goal, non-EU members can still donate until February 1, 2022 by following this link.

fully-recolourable 2 channels, 4 ghibli-themed overlays + one plain swatch (i apologise for the bluriness, there wasnt much i could do), hq textures, pregnancy morph enabled, hlod; 4607 verts, 7547 polys
issues; with some sliders, there will be some issues with the neckline of the shirt, like there were in the picture with elodie as an example. i couldn't fix this, but with normal body types it should be fine.
issues; the skirt part of a dress will likely clip and look weird with some poses, i tried to fix it but just couldnt. as well as this, with big boobs, the straps may go all wonky, i couldnt fix this either. and finally, slightly bigger sims or sims with some sliders may find clipping with the straps at the back of the dress. sorry, again i couldn't seem to fix this.

best with hat sliders, made for hat sliders, fully recolourable 3 channels + 5 custom overlays that may or may not look like shit idk it changes depending on the lighting, hq textures, male + female + teen & elder enabled, hlod; 2579 verts, 5951 polys, i used sketchbookpixels cowboy hat as a base which is why the mlod is that :)
annnnnnd im back woop! this time it's a conversion of the skirt i made for the sims 4, which if you're interested, you can find here. i said id convert it ages ago, but because i suck at sticking to anything (i blame adhd) it took me a while :)
*in all previews i have my sim texture setting set to 4k, so it might not look exactly the same in your game + previews were taken with reshade*

I S S U E S;
as this is the sims 3, and sims 3 loves to make life difficult there are a few issues...
- the skirt at the edges might mess up, because UGH morphs for skirts and dresses is BLOODY HARD, i did my best
- the frill around the center has a few small holes/missing pieces, but it didnt bother me too much so i just left it as is, you can kinda see it in the preview above
- some textures will overlap, i find this was mostly with ea stuff, as most of my cc didnt overlap at all, but just as a warning.
let me know if you have any other issues or problems with the skirt so i can fix them!
