i hate to ask and have this come off in ignorance, but i feel for the comfort of myself and others i have to; why is misandry in the blacklist of the server? i noticed that blacklisted terms are submitted per user as opposed to moderators themselves (i assume), so im not insinuating that it’s a server wide belief, but i don’t think i can jive well in there if misandry is included in the blacklist because the rhetoric of reverse oppression being real applies to any members’ belief systems. i am desperate for a community but not if i will indirectly bring or cause stirring discomfort or antsy-ness. thank you in advance.
I’m going to be honest with you, misandry is on there because we have a member who has personal history being attacked for their gender identity. We don’t allow misogyny either, we are completely anti-hate for any kind of identity, misandry is just something one of our users had personal experience with and wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be brought into our server.
