hi u have like mildly intrigued me. Can u tell me more about ur thoughts on keiple
hello person in the little asked box who is ahem "mildly intrigued" i would be so very glad to tell you more . :)
basically (for me) it all stems from the scene in which maple is , well, on her little robot death bed in the keiji pov sect of ch3. she tells him, qtaro, and mai to stay back . because she's scared she'll hurt them .
and keiji ignores this, he goes to her and he carries her to a comfortable place even though she's scared (and mind you he probably is too . he's seen the destruction she's caused . YOUVE (probably) seen the destruction she's caused (i assume you've played the game) so tell me you wouldnt be scared of her too. . u cant)
and then as he is doing this . she calls him Kind . and you think its just the dying words of some robot girl but when you consider keijis almost thematic at this point dehumanisation of himself - "a true piece of shit... burdened with [his] sin for life" - her words are this sort of juxtaposition to his entire frame of mind and i think itd be cool to see them rehabilitate together , with him taking care of her physically (cough cough "Maple... How can we fix you?") and her giving him words of reassurance ("... You're kind...")
also he says "Midori's an evil man... He's not a good fit for Maple." and i think that he is so very right and he should volunteer to take that place :) *you* are not an evil man , shinogi , and if it takes a mechanical angel girl to save you from thinking that you are one then so be it .
