How I feel about this character:

Literally the funniest character in the entire book. I love how every other chapter has some level of tragedy, but Toshinori’s chapter was just... hilarious. Of course, he’s a bigoted little asshole, but his commentary on his class is and always will be one of my favourite parts of the book. If he won, I would’ve 100% respected Takami’s decision.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Toshinori/Izumi: This one is completely fanbased, but honestly, the potential for their dynamic warms my heart. Like... the idea of the snootiest kid in class having a soft spot for one of the friendliest, peppiest girls in the class is absolutely adorable! Also, they’d be the classiest couple in class.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Toshinori & Kyoichi: Once again with the rich kid dynamic, but I always thought that if he’d get along with anyone in the class, it would be Kyoichi! I couldn’t see them having a super deep friendship or anything, but I do love the idea of them looking down on all their classmates and believing that they’re the superior ones when everyone else just sees them as those two weird nerds.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

He deserved to win. That’s it.

3. Best character traits

eeh i guess shes hardworking ‘n motivated with work ‘n uni ‘n that sorta borin’ stuff. shes pretty smart??? shes also really reliable with those stuff ‘n for her friends. shes totally over sensitive which can be both good or bad i guessss but it means she always at least tries to be kind ‘n has lots of compassion cause she hates hurtin people
